Olivier Cresp: A Master of Minimalist and Authentic Fragrances
Olivier Cresp is one of the most renowned and respected perfumers in the world. He was born in 1955 in Grasse, France, the historical capital of perfumery. He comes from a family of perfumers, as his sister, father and grandfather were all involved in the fragrance industry. He started his career as a perfumer in 1975 and joined Firmenich, one of the leading fragrance companies, in 1992. He became a Master Perfumer in 2006 and was awarded the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of Arts and Letters) by the French government in 2012.
Cresp is known for his minimalist and authentic style of perfumery, which focuses on simplicity and quality.
